Nicky Johnston is a Melbourne based children's book author and illustrator. Her illustration style is often described as whimsical, playful, narrative, emotive and dreamy.

She works in watercolour, ink. pencil and pastel, as well as digitally on occasions. As well as creating children's books, Nicky is also kept busy running illustrator workshops and visiting schools.
