Eucalyptus is a warming, stimulating oil. Remember how your lungs expand as you stand under a Eucalypt on a warm summers day.

Plantago is a broad leaved meadow plant - abundant in Australia and New Zealand.  The veins go the entire length of the leaf, bringing nutrients, air and fluid right to the tip of the leaf.  It is a tough plant, withstanding the daily onslaught of cloven hoofed animals, readily grows back when munched upon and protects the delicate soil beneath. Our lungs, too need to be strong and open, receiving the oxygen we breath and releasing the carbo-dioxide from our body. 

Lavender, Thyme and Pine essential oils all have associated uses with colds, congestion and chest complaints.  Associated with helping to clear the passages, making breathing easier and kill any infection present.
