She wears a summer top and long pants which can easily be changed.
Her skin is made of 100% cotton knit and her hair from mohair imitated polyester yarn.
Her clothing is mostly cotton. She is filled with 100% Himalayan sheep’s wool and so can only be sponge washed . Please do not soak her in water.
Dolls can only be sponge washed and not dipped in water.
Please note: While maintaining a distinct style, due to its handcrafted nature, each doll will vary slightly and fabrics used for the garments are frequently changed.
These sweet dolls are smaller versions of our popular Steiner dolls. At 28cm they will be the perfect friend to a younger child (or older for that matter..)
Like our other dolls they are handmade in a small workshop employing Tibetan women who are living as refugees in Northern India.
Each doll is individually handmade by one woman from beginning to end - starting with cutting, stitching and filling the doll - to finally sewing on the hair and face - giving each doll a unique personality of it's own.
